The Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) is a seven member commission appointed by the Town Council. Members serve a four year term and may be reappointed for successive terms.
The Authority is responsible for reviewing and approving sanitary sewer connections and expansions, and for assessing future needs of the sewer system. The Authority also levies assessments of benefits for any new connections or expansions that result in increased benefit from the sewer system. Current WPCA Policies relative to assessments of benefits, application guidelines, and sanitary sewer impact reports are available under the WPCA Policies and Procedures section of the Engineering Division web page.
Meetings, Minutes, and Agendas
The Water Pollution Control Authority normally meets in the Town Council Chambers at 6:00 PM on the second Wednesdays of each month.
See the Event Calendar to view meeting dates and times, or click here to view WPCA Meeting Minutes and Agendas as filed with the Town Clerk.
