This fall and winter, three respiratory viruses are again expected to circulate in the United States and cause significant illness: Influenza (flu), COVID-19 and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
There are vaccines that can help protect against serious illness and hospitalization from all three viruses. To help our residents stay healthy and up-to-date with their vaccines, the Glastonbury Health Department is offering vaccinations for all three viruses at clinics in town this fall. Beacon Prescription, New Britain, will be providing vaccination services again this year. For additional information on these viruses and vaccines, please see the 'Educational Resources' section below.
