The Glastonbury Ethics Commission serves municipal officials, consultants, employees, and residents of Glastonbury by interpreting and implementing the Glastonbury Code of Ethics. The Commission acts as a resource in addressing ethical issues as needed and strives to promote and affirm ethical behavior by all in Town. The Ethics Commission meets at Town Hall as needed.
Before seeking feedback from the Commission, please read the Glastonbury Code of Ethics to verify that your concern is addressed within the Code and thereby an issue within the Commission’s scope of influence.

Questions Regarding Unethical Behavior
Physical copies of the Glastonbury Code of Ethics, the Commission’s Procedures and forms for requesting formal Inquiries or Advisory Opinions are available in the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall (2155 Main St.).
Questions/Concerns about the behavior of Others:
If you question whether the behavior of a town official, consultant, or employee violates the Glastonbury Code of Ethics, you may submit an Inquiry to the Commission via an Inquiry Form.
Questions/Concerns regarding your own behavior
Town officials, consultants, or employees who wish to know if something they are doing violates the Glastonbury Code of Ethics may ask the Commission for an Advisory Opinion by submitting an Advisory Opinion Form. Town employees should pursue their prescribed administrative procedures for obtaining such advice before approaching the Commission. Please see sections 2-65 c. and d. of the Code.
