The Board of Assessment Appeals is a five (5) member board each elected to four-year terms. The Town Council may appoint two (2) alternate members, one from each political party. Each alternate member shall be appointed to a four-year term.

The board typically meets twice a year in March and September.  The September meeting is for motor vehicle appeals only.  Appeal hearings are by appointment and require an application.
