Patrol is the backbone and largest component of the Glastonbury Police Department, operating under the command of Lieutenant Anthony Pagliughi.

In addition to responding to 911 calls and other requests for service, Patrol Officers are expected to proactively engage in directed patrols and other problem solving activities. They are encouraged to work in partnership with members of our community in seeking out and resolving problems in order to enhance our quality of life.

Requests to hire Police Officers for special events, such as traffic control or private functions, are also handled by the Patrol Division. Persons wishing to hire an officer must first complete the "Request and Agreement for Purchase of Police Services" form. The form can be accessed in the Forms section under this site. It must be filled in, printed out, and then faxed to the police department at 860-652-4290.
