Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Available in Town Center

The Town of Glastonbury maintains two Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations for public use, which are conveniently located in the town center as follows:

  • 2327 Main Street
  • 2143 Main Street (behind the Academy Building)

How does it work?

Users will need to download the ChargePoint App, which is available through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The usage fee is $0.26/kWh, which reflects current market rates and covers direct electrical costs and O&M expenses. Once your vehicle is fully charged, an automated notification will be sent to you through the ChargePoint App. At that time, you will have a 30-minute grace period to disconnect and move your vehicle from the designated parking space before a $2.00/hour charge is initiated. Please be respectful of your fellow EV drivers and observe these usage guidelines.

Over coming years, the Town will install additional charging stations throughout the community, with funding provided through state and federal grants. Any updates will be shared to this web page as applicable.

Questions regarding these stations can be directed to the Glastonbury Engineering Department at (860) 652-7735 or Engineering2@glastonbury-ct.gov.
