In response to the retirement announcement of Glastonbury’s long-time Town Manager, Richard J. Johnson, the Town has engaged Strategic Government Resources (SGR) to assist in the recruitment for a successor Town Manager.  As part of the process, a Town Meeting will be held to secure community feedback to further identify the unique culture, needs and desires of the organization and community to assist in the marketing and recruitment of Glastonbury’s next Town Manager.

A Town Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in Community Rooms A and B of the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles Street, Glastonbury, with an option for participation by Zoom.  This meeting will allow an opportunity for the community to learn more about the search process and provide input to this very important process.
