The Glastonbury Police Department and Youth & Family Services are hosting a Drug Take Back event on Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. This will be a drive-by event held in the parking lot of the Academy Building, located at 2143 Main Street and will provide residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of unused and expired medications.

Before dropping off your items, please remove labels or cross-out any personal information on the containers. Medications may be left in their original containers.

Please note, we can NOT accept the following items at this event:

• syringes
• epi-pens
• inhalers
• any items containing mercury

Please remember to wear your face mask/covering over your nose and mouth as you approach the drop off station.

If you cannot attend this event, unused/expired medications can be safely deposited 24/7 in the Drug Drop Box located in the main lobby of the Police Department (2018 Main Street).
