Aldo Pantano from the Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care, State Office of Policy and Management, discusses the state’s program that can help in planning future long-term care needs.

The session will educate state residents to better understand the challenges regarding long-term care and how these challenges can impact families and communities. The presentation will clarify misunderstandings and misconceptions about what long-term care is and what it is not; who needs it; who pays for it and who does not. Included is a discussion about where long-term care situations fit in with Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act and more. This seminar provides a thorough explanation of the unique value and solutions that the Partnership offers Connecticut residents. If you are 40 or older, long-term care insurance approved by the State’s Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care can be part of your retirement plan. These policies assure you of the highest quality standards. They are affordable and provide asset protection, protect against inflation and give you peace of mind through your retirement years.

Seating is limited, so registration is requested online or at the Reference Desk at 860-652-7720.

No company specific products will be discussed, and there will be no sales or solicitations. Q&A. Additional information on the Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care is available on their website.
