EARLY VOTING AND SAME DAY REGISTRATION

EARLY IN PERSON VOTING IS AVAILABLE FOR THE NOVEMBER 5, 2024 STATE AND FEDERAL ELECTION. SAME DAY REGISTRATION IS ALSO AVAILABLE ON ALL EARLY IN PERSON VOTING DAYS AND ON ELECTION DAY.

Early In Person Voting AND Same Day Registration (SDR) location is The Academy Building, 2143 Main Street, All Purpose Room. Enter the drive to the south of Town Hall for easy access. There will be handicapped parking and curbside voting with entry at Door B. General parking is at the rear of the building with entry through Parks and Recreation door. 

Early In Person Voting begins on Monday, October 21, 2024 and continues through Sunday, November 3, 2024.  Hours of operation are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on all days with the exception of October 29 and 31 when hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

VOTER REGISTRATION

October 18, 2024 is the deadline to register via online system, DMV or regular mail. Registration is in person only after October 18, 2024

Opportunity to register in person is at the Early In Person Voting location at The Academy Building, All Purpose Room, rear entrance, 2143 Main Street, Glastonbury.  There is also Same Day Registration (SDR) on Election Day, November 5, 2024 at Academy Building All Purpose Room.  Please bring identification and proof of residency.

Voter registration is available onlinevia mail, and in person. The Registrars are in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm although currently we are in the office for extended hours in anticipation of the Election. (The Registrars' office is located on the lower level of Glastonbury Town Hall.)

Registrars ask that you update your voter registration via online registration, when at the DMV, visiting us in person, or downloading and sending in the information. 

The use of the online registration system works whether you are moving within town or within the State of Connecticut.
