The Town of Glastonbury offers a wide variety of programs to support a healthy, active, and safe community for residents of all ages and interests. Many of these programs are made possible by the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community groups in Town and a selection of opportunities to give are outlined below. In fact, the Senior/Social Services division coordinates several programs which depend entirely on community donations and contributions, such as the Food Bank and Fuel Bank, while others leverage donations to provide special programs and purchase special furnishings or equipment, such as the Senior Center and Dial-A-Ride.

Donation Opportunities
Glastonbury Gives /Assistance Programs
Glastonbury Gives funds a wide variety of Social Services Programs including the Food Bank, Fuel Bank, and special assistance programs. Click here to learn more about Glastonbury Gives.

Living Legacy Program
The Glastonbury Parks & Recreation Department offers an opportunity to Leave your Legacy through a donation of a park bench or tree in the local community, or a custom engraved plaque on the Dog Park fence. Please visit the Living Legacy Program web page for more information.
Support the K9 Police Program
Soleil, the Glastonbury K9, supports the Police in finding missing persons, searching buildings, and protecting Officers. A fundraising account has been established to support ongoing program needs. Please visit the K9 Program web page to learn more.
Cotton Hollow Mill
Over the next few years, the Town will be working in partnership with the Land Heritage Coalition and Glastonbury Historical Society to restore the Cotton Hollow Mill site. Click here to learn more about this preservation initiative.
Partner with Parks & Recreation
Glastonbury Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of partnership opportunities for local organizations and individuals. Land Acquisition and Preservation (Open Space) Fund

Holiday Gift Program
Social Services distributes toys and store gift cards to eligible families in mid December. To learn more or support this annual program, please visit the Holiday Program web page.
Miscellaneous
Many Town Departments also organize charitable initiatives throughout the season, including Toy Drives, No Shave November, Breast Cancer Research fundraisers, and more.
