Town-Wide Stormwater Management Plan 2004 (outdated)

The Town of Glastonbury prepared a town-wide Stormwater Management / Pollution Prevention Plan in 2004 as required for registration with the Department of Environmental Protection under the General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) and the EPA NPDES Phase II program.  The purpose of this plan was to protect the quality of water flowing in our local streams and rivers by reducing the discharge of pollutants from public streets, parks, and facilities into wetlands and watercourse.  This plan has been superseded by the 2017 Stormwater Management Plan, but is being provided here for anyone who may be interested.

Annual Reports and Sampling Data (2004 to 2016)

Also required under the DEP MS4 General issued in 2004 was annual testing of six representative storm drain outfalls, and reporting on progress toward the goals presented in the storm water management plan in an annual report.  Annual reports and sampling data from 2004 to 2016 can be found using the links below.
