Permits and Plans Submissions

The Town of Glastonbury provides online permitting through the OpenGov ViewPoint platform. Any and all permit applications must be submitted online. Hard copy applications and/or plans will NOT be accepted and will be returned to the sender.

System Registration

You will be required to register your account in the OpenGov ViewPoint system in order to submit a Building Permit Application. If you have used OpenGov ViewPoint in any other Town, your account will take about a day to sync with your new login on the Glastonbury system, as long as you are using the same email address. 

Payment Options

Credit/debit cards and e-checks will be the only accepted method of payment for permits obtained through the Town's online permitting system. However, applicants who prefer to pay by cash or physical check may do so in person at Town Hall during normal business hours.
