Time: Leave Riverfront Community Center at 1:30pm, tour is at 2:15pm, depart museum 3:45pm, return 4:30pm

Enjoy a guided tour of Hill-Stead Museum and gardens (Farmington, CT)! The museum was a house designed by a pioneering female architect, Theodate Pope Riddle, for her parents, Alfred and Ada Pope. Showcasing her father's collection of French Impressionist paintings and other treasures was one of her aims in creating this country home. When the house became a museum in 1946, it was left completely intact! Visitors will be required to lock their bags and personal belongings in the lockers located in the visitor center. Please wear comfortable shoes.
