Vaccination Clinic for Flu, COVID-19 and RSV

This fall and winter, three respiratory viruses are expected to circulate in the United States and cause significant illness:

  1. Influenza (flu)
  2. COVID-19
  3. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) 

For the first time in history, there are vaccines that can help protect against serious illness and hospitalization from all three viruses.

The Glastonbury Health Department will host a vaccination clinic on Wednesday, October 18th, at the Riverfront Community Center to provide community members with vaccinations for:

  • Influenza (flu): 3+ years of age
  • COVID-19: 4+ years of age
  • RSV: 60+ years

This clinic is being offered in combination with the Spooky Story Stroll for community convenience.

Please bring your insurance card.

Flu Vaccine

  • Ages 3+ - Beacon Pharmacies will require all flu vaccination recipients ages 3+ to complete a Flu Vaccine Form 2023. Please be sure to bring the completed form to your appointment, along with your insurance card.

COVID-19 Vaccine

As of 2:30 PM on 10/18, all appointment slots have been filled for the COVID vaccine for individuals ages 4-17. We apologize for any inconvenience.

RSV Vaccine - Ages 60+

  • Ages 60+ - Individuals getting an RSV vaccine will be asked to complete a consent form, which will provided at the event.

 

Support the Food Pantry during your visit!

The Glastonbury Food Pantry operates solely by community donations and all support is appreciated. Please consider bringing a non-perishable item to the clinic to donate to the Glastonbury Food Pantry. They are currently in need of the following items:

  • Canned Chicken or Tuna
  • Canned Chili/Beef Stew
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Rice or Rice Mixes
  • Cereal/Oatmeal
  • Canned Fruits or Vegetables
  • Crackers, granola bars, and other snacks
  • Baking Mixes
  • Coffee, Tea, Juice
  • Peanut butter/nut butters and Jelly
  • Chef Boyardee Meals
