On Tuesday, August 1st, at 10:00 AM, Congressman Larson will host a roundtable at Glastonbury Town Hall (Council Chambers) to discuss the recent floods and their effects on local farms. 

Discussion will also include updates on efforts to date and information on resources available to farmers, and will provide the opportunity for feedback from the public on this important issue. 

Participants are slated to include: Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01), State Senator MD Rahman, Glastonbury Town Manager Jonathan Luiz, Small Business Administration Connecticut District Director Catherine Marx, Farm Service Agency State Executive Director Emily Cole, and Connecticut Foodshare Chief of Staff Jennie Hirsch

This event is open to the public and local farmers are encouraged to attend.
