Learn the basics of hand knitting by making yourself a coaster or “mug rug.” Whether you're an absolute novice or you want to refresh some rusty skills, this beginner class will get you going!

We are currently accepting donations of craft supplies to use in the new Fiber Arts Friends group. Suggested donations should be in good condition and can include: knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn, fabric scraps, fabric shears, etc.

If you would like to attend as a mentor to assist new knitters, registration is not necessary. For new knitters, registration begins June 20th, online or by calling the library’s Reference Department at 860-652-7720.
