Head down to Riverfront Park on Wednesday, August 2, to enjoy some great music through the annual Riverfront Music Series! For this concert, the Glastonbury Town Band will present 'Broadway Lives'.

This concert, we will not only be celebrating the Town Band's 50th Anniversary, but we will be paying tribute to Chuck Lignelli, Town Band Director from 1994 - 2023. In early June, Chuck passed away after a battle with cancer. Chuck's passion for music and love for the Town Band was infectious and can be seen and felt by all around him.

Bring a picnic or purchase dinner on-site as you relax with family and friends on a warm summer night with some great music. We will also be offering free ice cream for the first 250 attendees and giving away bracelets to honor the memory of Chuck. 

Concert begins at 6:30 p.m. on the field behind the Riverfront Community Center on Welles Street. 

This year, the Town is encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable (and non-expired) food items to donate to the Glastonbury Food Pantry. Donations can be deposited in the collection container located at the Town booth. Currently, the Food Pantry is most in need of white rice, pasta sauce, nut butter, canned chicken, canned fruit, and apple sauce. Please consider donating a non-perishable item and thank you in advance for your generosity!
