Birder, Naturalist, and Connecticut Author of Birder on Berry LaneRobert Tougias, is joining us virtually to discuss the wonders of bird migration, the sensitive interaction of birds with their habitat, and the hidden meaning of their call notes and songs.

Tougias has been a birder since he was a small boy. After earning a degree in natural resources, he worked for the Massachusetts Audubon Society and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Now he's a nature writer in southeastern Connecticut, where he's president of his local wildlife club.

Registration begins May 2nd, online or by calling the library’s Reference Department at 860-652-7720. Registration with a valid email address is required to receive login information on the day of the Zoom meeting.
