"An Invitation to “A Time to Heal”

Rancor has always been a part of American politics. Passions are currently straining the "bonds of affection" that Lincoln once spoke of.  It is now time to heal.

Here in Glastonbury, TALK (https://talk-action.org and info@talk-action.org) recently ran a “Conversations That Matter” program, where we learned that one of the most important ingredients for having civil conversations is fostering a genuine curiosity about what others believe, and what’s behind it.

This was a good first step, but it was only a first step. As the next step, TALK is launching “A Time to Heal,” starting with a Zoom-based viewing and discussion of a 22-minute-long video called “Purple:  America, We Need to Talk.” A 5-minute-long trailer of the video can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/StSNCER31EU. 

People from all parts of the political spectrum are invited, welcome, and encouraged to attend!
