Original event information:

The Town of Glastonbury has partnered with Thriving Earth Exchange (TEX) to address elevated levels of naturally occurring uranium in well water in some areas of Glastonbury. The TEX scientists have analyzed local well water data results and prepared a report of their findings, which was published in November 2021. Click here to read the Uranium report. This public workshop will provide a forum whereby the scientists can review their findings and answer community questions.

This virtual lunch and learn presentation will be conducted via Zoom. It is anticipated that the presentation will take roughly 1 hour, followed by a Q&A session. The Q&A session will address questions submitted in advance of the meeting in an attempt to address as many questions as possible. If you would like to submit a question to be addressed during the workshop, please send your inquiry to uranium@glastonbury-ct.gov by no later than Monday, January 10. Please note that questions will only be accepted through the email portal. If you have any difficulty with your submission, please contact the Customer Service Center at (860) 652-7710
