Please park in the drive to the Shipman Nursery off Buttonball. Grab an orange safety vest on your way across the street.

This is the final day of a 3 day cleanup of the Rt 17 median, organized by GPIP:

#3 Date: Nov 16th, Saturday
Time: 9:00 am - 11:00 am  (paper and mulch day)

Chores: Weed prevention under the roses on the south island by spreading a thick layer of newspaper & mulch.  We'll be using bagged mulch which is easier to manage around the roses. Come when you can; stay as long as you like.

Tools: gloves, hand clippers, hedge clippers, personal water.

With a good crew we will make quick work of cutting back the perennials and roses in preparation for winter.

My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone; none of this happens without a terrific team of volunteers. Be proud of our lovely gardens. This is how we keep Glastonbury beautiful!
