What: Candlelight Writing Workshops at the River Bend Bookshop presents an eight-week course designed to help you discover and hone your writing voice. A combined craft class/workshop that delves into story structure, voice, cadence, the use of meaningful detail and more, it will be taught by a longtime New York Times writer, essayist and Creative Writing MFA from Sarah Lawrence College.

When: 6:30 p.m., eight consecutive Tuesdays, from September 10 – October 29.

Where: River Bend Bookshop, 2217 Main St., Glastonbury
