Playgrounds

Glastonbury has numerous playgrounds available to community members and visitors.

Help us keep our community parks safe for all!

When visiting Town facilities, please be mindful of the following in respect for your neighbors and Town staff:

  • Carry in, carry out! Please properly dispose of all trash and recycling items. If a recycling/trash bin is full, please take any items with you that you brought to the park, and dispose of them elsewhere. This is especially important for food items containing potential allergens!
  • Limit eating/snacking to designated picnic areas.
  • Please do NOT eat in the playground areas.
  • Wash hands thoroughly or use a wet wipe after eating and before touching playground equipment and other shared surfaces to help avoid the spread of disease and food contamination. (hand sanitizer does NOT eliminate allergens!) Learn more at foodallergy.org.
  • Report any issues to Town staff!
    • Non-urgent issues - If you come upon a broken/missing piece of equipment, lighting issue, debris, or other non-hazardous concern, please report the finding to Town staff. Visit www.glastonburyct.gov/citizenrequest to submit a request. All submissions are automatically routed to the appropriate staff member(s) for review and resolution.
    • Hazardous issues - If you identify any potential safety concerns due to debris or hazardous materials or conditions, please call Police Dispatch at (860) 633-8301. Please do not touch, or come in contact with sharp, dangerous, or otherwise hazardous materials.

Thank you for helping us keep our community safe!
